In my other spare time, I used to do mechanical things, so I actually have a portable sandblast gun I have used on metals in the past. Sadly, my compressor seems to have blown a hole in itself, so my pressure wasn't high enough to put a real blast on this pipe. Instead, I got an interesting leather like texture, and since everything in pipemaking needs a "name", I'm going to call it "leatherblast."
